Church Council

This church shall have a Church Council which shall be the board of directors of this church and shall serve as the interim legislative authority between meetings of the Churchwide Assembly.

• Provide mutual and moral support to the Pastor in the performance of ministry
• Provide additional support to other staff hired by the congregation
• Be the “ears” and “eyes” of the congregation in helping resolve conflict and issues affecting staff members including the Pastor
• Assist the Pastor in evaluating goals for continuing education
