Worship & Music Ministry Team

It is the mission of the Worship & Ministry Team to develop meaningful and creative experiences of worship for all ages in which God is lifted up.

• Plan with Pastor for regular Sunday Worship Service and other special worship services and/or programs
• Recruit, train and schedule Acolytes, Lectors, Assist Ministers, Ushers and the Altar Guild
• Make inventory of communion wine, wafers, vessels, robes, linens, paraments, etc., and arrange to have them cleaned or replenished as required
• Confer with Pastor and Minister of Music on types of worship settings, hymns and prayers required by congregants and/or the appropriateness of selections when necessary
• Recommend new staff to the Council
• Make budget recommendation for worship and music needs
• Report quarterly to the Council and annually to the Congregation
